What Is Actually Confirmed for 2027

Planning a festival year this early is mostly an exercise in telling real information from plausible information. Aggregator sites publish next year's dates for dozens of festivals in October, and a good share of those entries are last year's weekend plus 365 days. They are often right. They are occasionally very wrong, and the wrong ones are expensive.

Here is what has been announced by the organisers themselves. Kappa FuturFestival runs 2 to 4 July 2027 at Parco Dora in Turin, with three-day passes already on sale. Dekmantel Festival runs 29 July to 2 August 2027 in the Amsterdamse Bos, Amsterdam, also with tickets out. The Amsterdam Dance Event runs 20 to 24 October 2027. Those are dates from the people who have to deliver them. Everything else is a pattern rather than a promise. Most European festivals do repeat roughly the same weekend each year, and if you need to request leave in January, the pattern is a reasonable basis. It is not a basis for a non-refundable flight. Wait until the festival posts the dates on its own site, and screenshot the page when it does. A sensible year has shape rather than volume. One early-summer weekend, one high-summer weekend and one autumn city week is enough for most people, and leaves room for the thing you did not plan. Three well-chosen trips consistently beat six rushed ones, and the autumn conference weeks are where you meet the people who end up shaping the following summer. One warning about early announcements. Festivals that sell tickets this far ahead attract resale listings before any official allocation has moved. If a pass appears on a marketplace before the organiser has finished its first release, assume the worst. Buy from the festival, or from the single partner it names on its own site.

Dates above come from each festival's own site.
