Dino Sabatini and Luigi Tozzi have released XAMAN through Outis Opera Series, part of Outis Music. The album carries catalogue number OOS005 and comprises eight tracks, from u201cCrossingu201d to u201cAscent.u201d
Rather than treating the music as isolated peak-time tools, the project is structured as a continuous experience. Shifts in rhythm, timbre and space connect the pieces, allowing the record to progress through detail and tension without relying on abrupt changes of direction.
The music was recorded at Guruu2019s Lair in Rome, with mastering credited to Andrew Baldwin at Metropolis in London and artwork by Suloni Robertson. The work is offered digitally, with the label also listing a double-vinyl format. Buyers should check the label for current physical availability.
Sabatini and Tozzi have distinct approaches to hypnotic electronic music, and the strength of a collaboration like this lies in preserving those differences. XAMAN is an invitation to listen to the movement between sounds, not only to search for the loudest passage.
