Some things are better remembered from inside the room.
A memory, not a performance
There is nothing wrong with wanting to remember a night. But documenting every moment can change our relationship with it. We begin looking for evidence of a good time instead of allowing ourselves to have one.
Put the phone away for a track
Start small. One whole record without looking down. Listen to the bass, notice the room and let your attention settle. You do not have to turn it into a rule for everyone else to try it for yourself.
Let it belong to you
Some of the most meaningful moments leave very little proof. A familiar voice in the dark. A transition you cannot explain. A feeling you carry home. That can be enough.
